Rambo Ionic Rugs

Do they really do anything? If they do could they be harmful, if overused, for example?

I've got a fleece one that I use as a travel rug. I bought it because it's Rambo, and black and orange, but it sometimes perplexes me that either 1. It's just a rug, it does nothing any rug can't do and the therapy stuff is BS, or 2. It's secretly making my horse all tingly or something.

I thought about getting a stable one but I'd really like to know what, if anything, they're actually doing.

I loved them for my PSSM horse. I dont believe all the magic crystal nonsense, but they do keep them warmer than similar weight rugs. And I dont know if its just a random coincidence, but mine always laid down in the stable over night with it on, but didnt in other rugs. Seemed a bit weird to me at the time, but sometimes weird stuff does just happen!

I have two and having curled up with the clean one on my sofa they do seem extra warm. No tingling though
