Whats the difference between the multibridle and the competition one? If its just the lunge ring, could I just have it taken off? Just checking if it would then be BE etc legal?

Yes. You get more stuff with the multi bridle. Personally I preferred the multi as I liked the brass. Just bought a competition as they were so cheap on SD.

The lunge ring is legal, it's the bit clips which aren't.

A horse wearing bit clips got past the tack inspection at a recent BE event I scribed at for the dressage. Neither judge nor I noticed either. Rider's rellie is a BE delegate, so red faces all round, but he finished well down the line so no action taken.

That's good to know as I did fancy the multi bridle but didn't want to have to chop it off as it's useful having the ring!

Love mine. I was completely sceptical until I used one. Now I wouldn't go back to my regular bridle.

With my 130 quid saving on the English leather micklem I had ordered but did not receive (that's another story!) I'm planning an ultra mega bling browband to go with it
