i have 3 rambos that i am going to sell but was wondering if it would be more in my interest to advertise locally or just ebay them??

the rugs im selling are
* Rambo Original - med weight ( green and red ) (6"9)
* Rambo Plus - heavy weight ( brick red ) BUT it was one of the first ones with a zip neck which needs repairing. It doesnt have the leg arches like the new plus rugs either. (6"6)
* Rhino Plus - med weight (blue tartan) (6"6)

So what do you guys think would be my best way of selling them??

Depends how much you want for them .
On ebay P+P is so high on rugs people want a real bargain
If you advertised locally then people will pick them up and pay a bit more

probably get better money on ebay, but then it could be more of a hassle for you to have to mail them??

As they are Rambo, which is a word people pick up on a search, I would say eBay would be a good bet. However, were you planning on selling them now? Because I don't think there will be much of a market at this time of year. Better if you can hang on to them until autumn, then they'll fly out the door!

Also, with ebay, it's worth taking really good pictures, and lots of them. You don't have to pay extra for pictures in your listing if you upload them to Photobucket and use the html code in your description.

Ditto saving them until September as you'll sell them so much easier.
I sold a Rambo origional H/W turnout a couple of years ago for £75 & this spring I have just sold an older Rhino M/W turnout for £35.
Ebay is good, but put v good pictures & make sure you state any defects, so people are fully informed before they bid.

Ebay - you'll get a really good price for all of them.

I sell all my rugs on Ebay. And the good ones (Rambo and the like) always fetch very good money.

Ebay them, brands like rambo, rhino, fal all sell for decent money and to be honest i dont think people mind paying the postage if your fair with it.

If i was on the hunt for winter weight rungs i'd be looking now (and hoping to get a bargain now as most will be looking for lightweight rugs) shame yours arent smaller

6'6 & 6'9 - I'd be tempted if I saw them on ebay!!!

I would post them Parcel 48 through the Post Office. They never get delivered within 48 hrs(!!) but it's a trackable method and would probably cost about £15 - £20 to send them in a box.
