I once got a fabulous deal on a weatherbeeta rain sheet.

I would usually never rug but my horse was being bitten by his field buddy and wasn't doing anything about it so it was a sacrificial rug to spare me from vet bills. Absolutely no hard feelings to the other horse; he was behaving like a perfectly normal horse. Mine was behaving like a rocking horse.

Lovely rug and and as we turned him out the grooms laughed that at least it would come in as pristine as it was going out because my princess pony refused to even step in a damp patch, he refused to roll.

You can guess the next bit...

I had one absolutely nuke a flyrug in less than 12hrs, all that was left on her was the outer binding tape! 😂

Bought mine a new flyrug (a really heavy duty one!!) and he proceeded to climb out of the middle of it via a new hole of his creation. Leg straps, belly straps and neck velcro were all still securely fastened when I retrieved it from the floor. I was so hacked off that I got the sewing machine out and stitched the whole thing back together using about two metres of binding tape. He's never damaged it again since

Haha, that sounds like me! 'Oh, what's that? You've ripped half your sweetitch rug apart? Sucks to be you, I'm an amateur seamstress, enjoy your franken-rug!'.
