Seen as I've had to start bringing my two in a month earlier than normal- due to the bloody weather and the fact that my paddock looks like a rice field- my mind has wandered onto the subject of my turnout rugs. (also, all the winter stock- rugs, clothing etc has started coming in at work ready for winter!!)

Red has the Rambo Wug Plus- got it reduced to £130 in a sale last year, and as it's red, Red had to have it!! So he's sorted!

It's not a warm enough rug for Solo though, and this year I've decided that I'm not going to have time fannying about layering rugs up on a morning, so I need something thick and warm. I will get staff discount off whatever rug I decide on, so for once, money doesn't matter.

So I would really appreciate it if you could all tell me about your views/experience with either of the aforementioned rugs.

Thankyou!!

The duo would give you more flexibility as you can change the weight of the liners as and when the weather changed. Obviously you can't do that with the supreme. If it was me, I'd go for the duo.

I've got the supreme for both my boys. I had also debated about the duo, but I'm glad I went for the supreme. Both wore them last winter & were always toasty warm & dry. V v nice rugs

i have had my Duo for one season and its fantastic, love it, imo you couldnt go wrong when buying any rambo rug though, but the Duo offers fantastic flexibility

I have several Rambo Supreme light weight rugs and just layer under them when I need the extra warmth. Great rugs. 100% recommend them. Do not know if I'd want to pay the extra for a Duo as find layering with my own selection of rugs underneath works for me.

I would say supreme as personally I dont really have the time to faf about changing the liners in the Duo's and I always seem to be on a time scale. If I need to change the weight of the rug I would rather just pop a lite, medium or heavy weight on, which ever is needed. The duo's can save you money in the long run but I like my collection of rugs as much as my shoes!

I got my 2 duos last year and have found them to be excellent all year rugs.

My boys are out at night in the summer and there have been some nights when they have had the duo with no liner and the neck removed at the moment. then last winter they had it with a liner and the neck. Although I didn't bother to change the liner all I did was stick another rug underneath. (they lived in and out the stable in their duos).

So I'd vote for the duo as it gives you so much flexibility
