Rambo Ultimate Heavyweight Turnout any good???

HI all,

Im thinking of buying said rug for my horse as its so cold and snowy here! have any guys got any experience of these rugs (good or bad) id like to know what they are like b4 i buy, thanks. Also was going to order the cosy heavyweight stable rug (burgundy tartan one with neck) are these any good? they look like nice cozy rugs

I've just bought the Ultima and it is a very good rug - as are all of Rambo. Are you talking about the Rhino stable rug which is the tartan? If so they are brilliant, both my lads are in them and they also have hooks in them in case you want to put the liner in to make them heavier (I think it is the duo liners that you can put in them). I also have the Jumbo stable Wug but I find that it comes up very shallow on my big beasties.

Have a Rambo duo which I like very much - the liners are brilliant, easy to wash, and give me lots of warmth options for my fine coated mare!

Also have a Rhino stable rug (without neck) which is brilliant - totally thug proof, which is a relief as my 2yo's latest trick is to try to pull it off over his head with his teeth! He also plastered it in poo from the start, now all the poo stains have joined up, it looks pretty respectable again!
