We have had little pony mare 7 yrs and never had a problem with her being in season, you never knew when she was. This year she has turned into a rampant rabbit, jumping on other mare, chasing the other little mare and basically being a nymph. Very embarrasing to watch also.

Any clues if a hormonal supplement would help, she really is being a pain in bum

Thankyou My vet is due next week for boosters so was going to mention, just wondering if this is very abnormal behaviour for mare as never come across it before.

It is abnormal for your mare, therefore worth checking out. There are plenty of possible reasons but one *could* be that she has an ovarian tumour. Please don't worry until you've spoken to your vet.
