ramps on trailers

Looking for a new (to me) trailer and come across one that has a split ramp, ie shuts like barn doors or can be used as normal ramp, its an IW.
Anyone any experience of these, opinions?

I've got a Bateson with doors like that.... they call them Boston Doors

Totally brilliant. Never bother putting the ramp down, sometimes I don't even open both doors!!

Horses seems to load really well into it. Never had a problem, and you have the benefit of dodgy loaders not being able to "fall" off the side of the ramps when they change their minds!

From what I understand many American and also Australian horse trailers have doors instead of a ramp, they must think they are okay!
