Not really useful post BUT I am so proud of my 2 boys.
My first boy is my son, aged 5. He and his sister had riding lessons yesterday and he cantered for his first time on his own.
..... and I missed it 
.
It was the first I didn't go but hubby was a genius and filmed it on his phone I must have watched it millions of times already 
And the other boy is my Buddy. We went on our first Fun ride yesterday (hence the reason I missed my kids lesson
) and he was considerable well behaved. It was his well known hunting area and after a bit of disappointment that it wasn't as fast as he is used to we settled for a nice day out . Even popped a little jump on the way
