random question

you lot know everything about dogs, so here's a really random question for you...

OH's dog goes absolutely LOOPY when she needs a poo. tears around like a mad hatter for about 3minutes then does her business and resumes normal behaviour!

she's a 19month old german short haired pointer.

any ideas?!

Some of our dogs in the past have done this - they seem to want to find a specific PLACE to poo!
