Hello, my boy (who’s currently living out) has developed some swelling around his front fetlocks, one is larger than the other. No notable heat or lameness. He’s not been worked for a short while pending a move. Does anyone have any thoughts or similar experiences? He’s never been prone to ‘stable’ legs. Many thanks

Thank you. Yes, we thought maybe windgalls but odd that there seems to be swelling in both - one worse than the other. He’s not really one for exerting himself in the field either. Will hose/magnetic boot and see how they go

Its better if the swelling is in both. If just one I would worry something more sinister. Ground is hard, grass is coming through. If the weather is hot my boys legs fill in the field as he doesnt move about much.
