Fetched my young cob mare in this morning, raging in season and knickers around her ankles. She spotted her reflection in one of the stable windows as she walked past. She stopped, stared at herself, whickering and talking to 'her friend'. She then licked the window, still talking. She then turned her bottom to 'her friend' and sprayed the window in pee. Bless her, she needs talking to I think !

Loving the image of a horse with her knickers around her ankles! Poor girl sounds pretty desperate :-) I take it you are keeping her well away from Ted?

hehehe my girl has actually called out to cows in the past! she is so desperate she would even let them mate with her I recon.

Ted wouldn't know which end to tackle first, and when he eventually worked it out he would be exhausted and have to go back to bed.

My mare has mastered the 'pants down and moon walk' into the fence, to flirt with the horse behind the hedge - that is so big you can't see through it!
Bless the tarts!!

I used to ride a stallion who regularly tried to leap on the cows grazing on the local common. He had a lot of mares every year, but obviously felt he needed more action!

The two little girls have got a bit confused today, the two year old cob thought the three year old appy girl might be of use to her, the Appy did wonder if she could  then they both got bored, sorted their skirts out and wandered off to find food. :D

i only know mine is in season because she wont be in the field in the morning, she does not squirt/squeal or any of the other usual stuff she just breaks through the fences and goes to a geldings stable and quietly stands outside-she does not even touch the gelding or talk to him just stands quietly facing him

A friend completed a round of show jumping a few years ago and as she left the arena a stallion went in for his round. Friend's mare did an about turn and ran back into the arena after the stallion and 'exposed' herself. Friend was mortified!!

Expensive ! At least all I had do was mopping.

yes it is her only fault and it is a pita, if she is muzzled she wont break out we have found by default but i am not keen on muzzling a 6yr old all the time after a chat with the edt. naughty horse

Friend of mine had a film crew visiting the farm where she keeps her horses. Her mare was being led out and squirted all over the camera man!!

Crikey this is hilarious reading :D

I borrowed a riding school's Arab mare to take to a show, she was in season and spent almost an hour doing the most stunning extended trot I have ever seen with her tail up by her ears and her butt stuck out like J-Lo. Unfortunately in a sea of geldings who couldn't think what was "natural" she lucked out. By the time it came to her class she was knackered from all the extended trot and visibly depressed. It was the most embarrassing experience when the judge said to me "she really doesn't want to be here, her face says it all". I felt responding with "that's only because she hasn't got her leg over" was probably inappropriate so we quietly left the arena before the individual rounds.

Tut tut you bad mums not having "the talk" already but ummmm makes no difference mines still a tart :)

We had a birds and bees talk yesterday. She yawned, farted and was unimpressed at her half handful of chaff, 3 pony cubes and half a carrot supper.

She came in this morning, marched straight up to the window to talk to her 'boyfriend' again. Give me strength !

Well I have a tiny wee pony staying with mine atm, hes 20 yrs old and apparently never done anything remotely riggish before.....

My two tarts were very pleased to see him from day 1, both in season usually just groom each other a lot and squirt every now and then! However with the wee fella theres been a lot of nibbling and licking all over, squealing etc but I thought well hes only about 11.2 and theyre 16hh + so itl be fine. Am riding one in the field and see a flash of white at the corner of my eye - whip around and nearly fall off as the randy old git as got his front legs over my friesians bum, everything hanging out humping her knees!!!! They have now been split lol

Punching above his weight much,,,,?!
