Went to a show this morning and got soaked and the ground was getting too slippy so I only did the clear round and then went home before it got really bad

Tis a shame because I had been looking forward to this show for ages! The rain ruins everything!

What has everyone else been up to?
 
I was just thinking exactly the same thing. It's the longest day and it looks like November here and pretty much with temperatures to match. I was so cold I last night I was going to put the heating on but settled for snuggling down under a blanket to watch TV. Like you say, it supposed to be summer! Please don't let it be another year without a summer like last year . . . .
 
Tell me about it - I thought it was meant to be nice today !! Took my sisters horses rug off this morning - (was nice at 6:00 a.m. !!) - went out shopping with my Mum and starts pi**ing it down. Had to rush up to farm to put his rug on (he is skinny TB!). Took rug and a feed down to field for him and decides the rugs is the most scariest thing in the world and won't come out in field so I got wet through trying to get him out. Had to take my little boy down as well who decided to walk in all the mud caused by the rain and had to strip him off when we got in the car !!

Will there ever be a summer !!!

Tis damp and muggy and windy here. We were supposed to be out at an event with two carriages, they postponed it

Looks out of the window at the black sky in one direction and blue sky with gathering storm clouds in another. Guess we are in for more rain then!

Huge pain as I really need to get some hay cut, ah well, it will still be there tomorrow.

Im in south of France and its way tooo HOT here. 133.7°F or 57°c In the sun here. Its 36.3°c in the SHADE
