So me and two friends were enjoying a hack in the sunshine today. We all had hi vis on and I was at the back as my vest says "please pass slow and wide". We encountered countless cars that obviously cannot read and are total idiots as the went past us far too fast despite us putting our arms out and asking them to slow down. The last straw was when one of the horses got a fright and swung her bum out. The car coming towards us didn't even slow down, never mind stop. She jut carried on at full speed and missed the bum of the horse by a few inches. Her window was down so I shouted at her to slow down and she stared straight ahead and did not even acknowledge that we were there.
It makes my blood boil!!! We are always courteous, wave to say thank you, pull in if possible but some idiots just don't give us horsey folks any consideration!
