Very angry - mum just phoned me and said a full tank of diesel around £80 has been stolen from the tank of our horsebox - Makes me want to scream!!!

Apparently there is lots of it and the more locks you put on the more they crow bar it and muck the lorry up!

So going to have to move all the lorries so they are parked closer on the tank side so they cant get down there.

what b*stards!!! Cant believe it makes me sick!!!!

I know - you shouldnt have to worry about these sorts of things - you pay for it there fore its yours!!

Its just so annoying as I think we will have to leave at 4.30ish in teh morning on sat for Poplar and could you imagine if it happened again and we had to go and get a can of petrol to fill it to move b4 a show that time of morning!! I would scream!!

They have drained it so much we cant even get it to a petrol station to fill up

OMG! Where was it parked?

That's shocking!

It is parked in a secure lorry park about 50ft away from the guys house who owns the farm.

There are about 6 lorries in there 2 caravans and about 5 trailers - makes me so mad!

You may have the last laugh - there is usually a load of crud at the bottom of most fuel tanks - so if they've drained it empty all that crud will go into their vehicles - only consolation.

Personally I'd leave the tank with just enough in it and get up early to put enough fuel in for whatever journey you are doing - just don't fill the thing up agian

once they've been once - they'll be back - and if they've seen the trailers I'd be worried if I owned one - they'll be back for them as well - and if not the siphoner's - one of their 'mates'

Thats awful, theiving barstewards. It must have taken them some time to get the lock off and empty that much out - they must have need a massive container too - don't know how they have the nerve.

We are in a secure lorry park where you most certainaly cant get cars in and out that is all firmly locked with big barriers etc.

But yes I spose we will have to just leave in enough to get to petrol stations in future!
