I have been riding a horse to sell it which we have but they couldnt get it vetted for a week so in this time it got this sore swollen eye which is going around.Told owner to get vet out for eye ointment! I explained he was being vetted so she said to tell the buyers and postpone it for a week for it to get better and she was going to speak to the vetting vet ( a friend from another practice). I was left some eye ointment to be put in 4 times a day on friday so by monday it had ran out (2 and a bit days)I said i didnt think it was enough stuff but im no vet. Gave the buyer the choice they said t would be fine to carry on. Anyway on the day of the vetting the vet rang to say he had been given a pain killer when they came out (had he???) so he couldnt be vetted fairly.
I said that was fine but why didnt someone say this knew made me look like i knew but didnt say!!??
Anyway buyer ok and vetting moved. Anyway his eye still wasnt getting better (not suprised) so i told owner to ask the vet for more ointment as it should ave lasted longer really. They said it should have and so they now want to come out again (chargable) just for a quick look befroe leaving more of the same.
His eye was fine but they should have given more ointment??? 2 days cant be enough.
Anyway all this and he isnt even my horse!! He is on full livery so I have told him that i was only paid to ride and whilst i have helped he needed t sort out his vet himself (in my oppinion they are not much cop)
I then find out they cocked up his injections too so he had to start again (in the past)
