RANT: TDS, OLD DAIRY, PREM EQ, SURREY EQ...WASTE OF TIME

Why do the above companies insist on advertising items that they haven't got in stock & cannot order in from suppliers either. They take the order, take your money & then days later...or weeks later in case of Prem Eq tell you they no longer have the item in stock & have to refund. On occasions they say it will take up to a week to refund, yet they took the money immediately!

Even when they are speaking to you saying they haven't got the item in stock they still haven't bothered to strike the item from their website & are still advertising it

I have ordered from all these companies & all have let me down.

I wonder how many disgruntled customers these companies have.....& it's purely up to their greed & lousey stock control.

To possibly be fair....they may well have orders in with the manufacturers/distributors that have not been shipped to them because they don't have the stock they are supposed to.
In my (non horsey) business, many suppliers charge you for the whole order but only ship part, rest to follow. Others say 3 weeks delivery but take 8, and some say they have the goods and will be with me on Tuesday...but without 3 lines I really needed but they don't tell me this at the time, I only find out when the box arrives on Tuesday with a note 'Please re order XYZ'.
