rant yo

today my YO rang me and i missed the call she had left a voice mail saying she was taking rugs to be washed and did i want her to take mine. i ran up the yard to show her which i wanted her to take but she had gone. so i came home to later find out she had been though all my things in bags and left it in a heap on the floor then she declears shes taken six rugs if she had bothered to wait till id said yea shed of found out there was only two that needed washing my stable rug and a sheet which i was going to wash myself. each rug costs 14each to wash so thats over 80 pound which i cant afford i most annoying bit is 4 of them were neeeding the bin and onother was mums old horses and she wanted to burn it n the yo knew this. I WOULDNT OF TAKEN SOMEONES THIS WITH OUT ASKING.... she also took 9 of my friends rugs who sold her horse on sunday n is too upset to go up to the yard and she didnt ask her either sorry rant over

Yep I surely do - I would say to the YO that in that case she can pay for them to be cleaned! Can't believe she just helped herself without checking with you first - better to not have had any of yours cleaned and leave you to make your own arrangements

Could you contact the rug cleaning people first thing tomorrow and explain that they don't need cleaning?

I would definatley be angry if I had to pay 80 pound for rugs that didnt even need cleaning!

I suppose, she probably thought she was helping, as she couldn't get hold of you. But yeah, I would be annoyed! I'd rather she'd have just left them and i'd get cleaning sorted myself, than her just ploughing on and costing you money.

oh dear that is very rude,id say something to yo and explain that she can pay for the ones you didnt want washing as she took it upon herself to do it without getting the go ahead from you

I would be so cross!! I am the same I have a load of rugs that I just wouldn't spend the money to get them porfessionally cleaned, but keep hanging around just in case - I need a good clear out.

I would say she's made a very bad judgement to just assume. Even if you did want them cleaned it's not to say that you wanted them done this month. I do not know what I would do now tho....? Sorry. I guess it depends on how much you like the yard and how much you can tolllerate.

Too late now but I would ask her not to do this in future, lie if you like, say you have another place to get them done, but make it plain you will decide what and when next time.
