Rat bite!!!

My JRT was bitten on the face by a rat this afternoon. I've cleaned it up (2 x small puncture wounds), but guessing it's a trip to the vets in the morning...............what do you recon??

Hope your little one`s face is OK......horrible dirty teeth on rats, so I would pop him to the vets just in case. Did he finish ratty off?

we had a rat bite the end of one of our greyhounds tails a few years back. we had to take him to the vets and he lost a lot if tail

Took Oz to the vets 1st thing this morning, he's on anti b's for 7 days.

LOL some dopey cow in the reception over heard me saying he had been bitten by a rat and asked how the rat was!!!!!................Um well I said I didn't think it was worth bringing it down!!!!!

Then someone else asked if the rat was wild (as opposed to a pet one I guess)..........I replied that it seemed pretty mad!!!

Yep, it is one dead rat, think the bite made Oz sharpen his act up!!!! LOL silly little boy is 6 now and this is only about the 4th rat he has caught (the 1st 2 he brought to me live)!!!!

Whats the betting next time it sees a rat , the dog goes into a frenzy.and doesn't get bitten again?

We had a patterdale that was too lazy to catch rats..when she was about 4, she stuck her nose into a hole and a rat bit her....and ever since then its been her mission in life to wipe the critters out!lol.
