I feed my greyhound a raw diet and have just taken up camping. So far we only go from Friday evening until Sunday evening, this means that the food stays fresh in a cool box if I pack it frozen on a Friday. We are planning on going away for a week shortly and don't know how to feed him. Nature's Menu do tinned food which is meant to be almost as good as a raw diet in that it's only steamed. Does anyone else feed this or what do other campers that feed a faw diet do?

I use natures menu, wainwrights trays or Arden grange partners when camping. If I'm near a pets at home or kennelgate I will buy 2 days worth at a time.

For week long shows I look for a local pets at home (or similar) to stock up after 3 or 4 days, some shows people get together and get an order brought in midway through the week. Or sometimes I just get a good quality dry food, Arden Grange, Taste of the Wild, etc, just for that week.

I can usually eke out four days from a coolbox but after that it's Nature's Menu tins, Butchers tripe mix tins (cheap but surprisingly decent as a temporary measure - specifically the tripe mix, not the stuff in gravy or jelly) or a decent quality kibble (I use Markus Muhle).
