I have been feeding raw for the past 15 years. I changed over my first 2 dogs when they were aged 6 months and 4 years old. Since then I have had a puppy that was raised on raw and bred a litter weaned and raised on raw. However in 4 weeks time my new puppy will come home (all fingers crossed) she is being weaned and raised on kibble.
My question is how long do I keep her on kibble before switching her onto raw. I have never changed over a young puppy so am I better of doing this gradually or all in one go. My first 2 dogs were all in one go especially as the 4 year old had bad colitis on kibble.
Thank you for all advice

Is Tiva a FCR?

I'd be tempted to switch straight and be prepared for a couple of days of unsettled tummy. Chicken breast might be the ideal start. If that's a bit worrying, maybe switch one meal per day to raw for a few days, then two etc as she'll be on several meals a day.

Yes Tiva will be a flatcoat. Not actually chosen which one she is as I have second pick of bitches. Getting very excited now and working on puppy proofing the garden. It's 7 years since I've had a puppy

My pup came with kibble which I thought I would feed her before switching to raw with my other dogs but she saw what they were eating and refused her kibble so went straight onto raw.
