RC teams at dressage champs

Another lovely day today.Think we tried a bit too hard in nov 23 and broke in med trot and free walk which was very costly as walk was x2 and got a 4 from one judge and 5 from the other [he never jogs but I was nagging and he thought maybe she wants this]Good thing, he really extended in canter which he has never done before.Overall got a good mark and was really pleased with him and team came 3rd so it was lovely to ride in to the fanfare and get posh rossettes and prizes.Looked at his photos from wednesday and today and I can see why the judges like him [he looks better than he feels sometimes but at his age he is brilliant[not 5 till May]
The jumping pics were pretty good as well but not on the website until mid week.
Well done everyone who took part I think they did us proud ,it was well run and looked beautiful. Hope you agree

I've been wondering how you've got on all afternoon. I think the organisers must have fallen asleep with exhaustion as the results are still not up on the website!

I bet you were one proud mummy in the prize giving!

Thanks, horsegroupie came to watch him[ she bred him and hasn't seen him since he was a yearling] I hope she was proud of him and enjoyed herself, our picnic today was fit for a king and although a long day ,it was a good one. Nice result, good company and good champagne!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(HG comes running in) Did I hear my name?? I had a great day thanks carthorse and he looked beautiful and I was very proud and I thought he went brilliantly (even if he did have 2 naughty bits!) I did enjoy myself and you were right it helped take my mind off of whats happened recently - I had a fab time! He was the youngest horse in the line up and the best behaved

The photographer was imagepointevents,the pics were lovely and so many there were about 10 of each test and 8 of the jumping

Well done! Heard team were 3rd- super result! Wish I'd have done it no- dad had a very inconsiderate birthday yesterday!
