O.k, her X Rays have come back negative for navicular although my vet says she may still have it or a problem with the bursa? Or tendons or ligaments, well that narrows it down !
She said her bones are in the wrong place and suggests my farrier radically raises her heels and then gradually lower them on subsequent visits until the bones are in the right place.

Is she on about the hoof axis?
I've yet to speak to my farrier so in the meantime am wondering PLEASE if anyone can shed light on what is happening:(
Thank You

ETS: She had heel wedges/egg bars put on last time and was still lame and tottery .

Thanks, I'm seeing them tonight at 5pm.
Whilst on the phone I asked if I could take the x rays and vet didn't seem to keen. she said the farrier shouldn't need them WTF

Legally, can I take them away if I've paid for them ? Thanks

I have just had our big mare xrayed and our vet has said that our farrier needs to raise her heels. The vet gave me one of the xrays for the farrier - as obviously he needs to see the xrays to help him with the appropriate shoeing, so I don't know what your vet is on about. BTW our farrier has shod our mare, but I think it will be a long term thing, not an overnight solution.
