Well after my last post I ordered a Dr Cook's bridle which came today, tried it for the first time today in the school and pickle was brilliant. He didnt make a fuss at all and soon settled to it, we could easily canter 20m circles and do 10m circles with ease so stearing is fine. When we first cantered he was very confused what do you do when your not leaning on my hands! Also did lots of transitions and he was brilliant he really seemed to do well with it.

So next is too try jumping see if I can hold him, then if he is ok with that will have a go at hacking him, am really chuffed with it so far.

That's great, i would like to try one on Brooke but too nervous lol. She woiuld prob be ok as i can bring her from canter to trot to walk with my voice and seat, i don't touch her mouth at all. post how you get on with hacking.
good luck

Glad you have had a go with it and got on really well by the sound of it.
Good luck with the jumping and hacking...I'm sure it will be fine!
