Does anyone have any suggestions for stopping my puppy eating poo?
She is 8 months old and has suddenly developed a passion for it.
I have tried telling her off and putting pineapple in her food but no joy.

Our Spinone used to do this, we got her at 11 months, vet said to distract her with something nice a treat when ever she went to eat it, she eventualy grew out of the habit, she didn't eat her own just our ther other dogs pooh

I think its fairly common for pups and younger dogs to get into this habit. I would either supervise when pup goes to the loo and a firm 'no' if you witness him eating the poo and also be extra vigilant in clearing up the poo. Hopefully, he will grow out it. Must admit though, when we had all that snow and any poo left in the garden overnight, froze, one of my dogs thoroughly enjoy having a lolly-poo for brekkie!

As above, clean it up before the pup even gets a chance to sniff at it:D, it's the best way really, dont leave it lying , jsut remove it as soon as she has done it, dogs are natural scavengers and greeders, Im off the belief it's not a deficiency thing, it's a greed thing, pooh is jsut digested food, it smells strons and it's prob quite nice (from a dogs point of view):p to eat.
So basically lift it, if u are on your way to get it and puppy starts to eat use a negative distraction if you would rather, that would be a water pistol or rattle bottle or a firm Ah ah!.
But I would use the pick us asap version, esp if you only have one dog.

Our 15yr old rescue dog has always eaten his own poo yuk! Nothing has stopped him, we just have to clear it up quckly and tell him off when he does t
