My mare had a late foal last year and is just starting to get back into proper work. Since the foal her shape has completely changed and it seems her whole body has dropped and she is alot more withery. Due to this her saddle has now dropped very low. My question is will she get her shape back once she starts working again & building her muscle back up or do I have the saddle re-flocked & if she does get her original shape back just have it re-adjusted again??

I would say she will regain most of her shape back but this will take time, you will find that she will appear less dropped as time goes on even without working her under saddle, for the time being I would have a saddle fitter out and get some good advise on your saddle situation, obviously bring her back to work with a saddle that does not fit her/ or as well will cause discomfort and cause futher problems which you know doubt know.
Would it be possible for you to borrow a saddle off a friend? or hire one from a saddler? or a buy a second hand one for the time being? you could get your saddle altered but it might be cheaper to to buy one to keep you going for 6 months or so.
