Not sure if anyone can help. A friend of mine bought a Springer Spaniel puppy but with his work load (Lawyer in London) he just doesn't have time for her, so she is left for his parents to walk. Which is not ideal. He has come to the really hard decision that he must re-home her. She is 6 months old, full pedigree and a real bundle of fun. But like all springers needs to be doing something and shut in a small house is not ideal. People really should think of this before they go out and buy one (but it is not for me to judge). Just wondered before i go down the route of calling the Springer Spaniel rescue if anyone knew of someone that would like a lovely dog.

If she is near London i'll pick her up whenever you like.
Springrs should be out getting filthy dirty, not the kind of dog to have if you are not home all day!

Sad story, although at least he is doing the best thing by this dog now

Please contact this rescue;-

www.nessr.net

They will help and at least the pup will have life long cover from the rescue if things don`t work out.

if it is working pedigree i wouldn't go through these guys - i'd go through a gun dog forum. these guys can be a bit funny about working dog peeps

we get our dogs through rescues - and we work them and still keep them when they are old and useless

not all working folk will dump a dog who can no longer work

good luck finding her a new home

My Parent's know lots of Shooting People in Leicester, I get them to ask around.

LOL! Oh don't tempt me!! I would snap her up in a second, but there's no way my mother will agree,

If I see my neighbour I shall ask her though
