My mum's friend who lives on the Wirral knows of someone who has to move into sheltered housing. They have a 3 month old staffy bitch who they are looking to rehome. Her name is Roxy and they say she has a lovely temperament.
My mum cant take her on with money and time commitments already having 9 cats, 2 horses and chickens!

If anyone knows of anyone who maybe able to re-home her please let me know.
They don't want anything for her, just a good home.
Thought i would ask on here.
Thanks

I live on the Wirral. I really wouldn't advertise the fact that you have a young staffy going for free, I'd contact local trainers, there's one who does classes in Arrowe Park and other places like that. There's also the council kennel's facebook page, AFAIK they have a few contacts who might be able to help. Staffs attract the wrong type of people round here so it is worth asking round to find the right home.
Friends of Birkenhead Council Kennels is the name of the fb page x good luck x

Thats exactly what they don't want - for her to end up in the wrong hands!
I live in shropshire and can't find anyone who will have one - they only seem to have working dogs here :(

It would be worth asking round, maybe contacting some breeders. Where I live there is a bigger need for companion animals than working, if you want I could have a little ask around for you?

At 3 months old I would hope the breeder would take the pup back, but that is possibly being a tad optimistic.:( Unfortunately that area and Merseyside have pounds full of staffies looking for new homes, the only thing I can suggest is talk to local trainers, vets etc. I hope they are able to sort something out for the poor pup.

I have been in touch with the one of the people associated with the Kennel's facebook page. She has told me that I can post a picture of her on the facebook page and they will deal with homechecks and things like that. They have also advised me that at four months she will be eligible for subsidised neutering vouchers due to her breed, this will further weed out "the wrong kind" as she will not be able to be bred from. If you could tell me where your friend is based in Wirral that would be helpful too :)
