Re joining PC for insurance

Does anyone renew their Pony Club membership just for the 3rd party insurance? Realistically i'm not likely to be doing any PC activities this year but as soon as my membership lapses at the end of the month so does the insurance. I've looked at the BHS gold membership for their insurance but as i'm 19 it would be a junior membership and i don't know if this has the same insurance cover? Any ideas on either PC or BHS? :)
 
The BHS website says this:

The following Gold Membership benefits are included in the following types of Membership: Gold, Junior Gold, Family Gold or Life Membership.

Personal Liability Insurance up to £10 million for all the horses you own, look after and ride, regardless of age.
 
Don't know what are the advantages of belonging to PC versus BHS are but wondered if you were thinking of working towards any BHS exams, because I think you have to belong for that, otherwise I would think PC does more for your age group.
