Hi there - just an update for those of you who offered me their advice.
Vet came out again and I did sew the seed of Cushings, which in fact he pretty much jumped on straight away (asked to see a different vet this time and wonder why his colleague didn't pick up on it). He said that she is a little overweight but for her type not so much, and interestingly told me that the crest she has - which I have been worrying myself silly over as I haven't been able to get it off her - is due to the Cushings rather than being overweight as such. Anyway, her pedal bones have rotated further BUT not beyond help, and hence she's going on Pergolide which it is thought will be the key to her improvement. So, I'm much relieved that she will live to fight another day, and thank you all so much for your posts.
