So I dont want to depress anyone here by thinking about winter, but im thinking about sending off my winter rugs this year to have them re-proofed and cleaned for me instead of doing them at home....it is going to cost me £17 a rug - im just wondering if anyone knows of a good product which can be used at home to re-proof rugs or do most people send their rugs off to be done for them...?
What is easier...? and best...?

I got Hydiophane water stop, a liquid waterproofing for nylon fabric rugs, but would rather send them off next time as messy to put on.

I use the same as Gucci but it can be difficult to see which bits you've done as you sponge it on. Does the trick the though and is much cheaper than sending them off.

I think I did 3 large rugs out of the last bottle.
