Hello!

I’m looking for recommendations for a schooling livery in (or around) Scotland for a young TB.

He didn’t race but was bred on a racing yard so has the tendencies of an OTTB.

I have started him myself but I feel he would benefit from a professional rider doing some re-schooling work with him so that I can continue.

He’s quite hot and sensitive so ideally someone with experience with TB types and is a kind rider!

Looking in Scotland or just over the border.

Thank you!

Not sure why the link looks weird, it is legit. It's for Joanne Heaton of Balanced Equine.

Thanks! Do you have any personal experience with Alastair? I have heard of him through a friend of a friend but I don’t know what he’s like re-schooling for people. My horse is a young hot TB who needs a kind hand.

Not personally, no , but I know plenty of people who have sent their horses to him for breaking and/or schooling.

He’s a nice rider and has a good reputation.

Have a look at HBF stud’s facebook page - there’s recent videos of him jumping their 5yo’s and one of their breeding stallions.
