Followed you guys advice and went on a mini fast hack this morning before doing a quick school (I had to go as I had already booked and paid for the menage).
Not many fields around on the route but some grassy verges where we had some little canters and we went through a ford. Hattie seemed happier today and was forward with needing very little contact from my leg or stick.
Got to the stable where the menage is, gave her a treat before we went in, then we just did one run through of the test in the menage and I gave her loads of treats straight afterwards and praise!
We're going to go on a long hack tomorrow and hopefully do a few little poles in the field as she likes that so I'm hoping this will keep Hattie fresh for Sunday.
