Have got one and love it. I can really feel my horse and he moves better in it.
I feel very close to him which is wierd considering the construction of the saddle! You would think that you would feel very detatched!

Yes, Ive actually rode in a gp one thought I'd feel about 6 inches off the horses back but amazingly didnt! I did feel my mare was much freer in her shoulders. I'll start scouring ebay!! Hope I wont regret it!!

Well, I can't say either way. I had a very nice saddle beforehand fitted with Flair which I thought was the "dogs danglies". However after riding in a RP, I was converted.

There are a few RP fans on here and as many RP not-fans. It is personal preference, but if you rode in one and loved it,,,I think you are an RP person.

OTOH, I just spoke to a saddler who told me not to pick a saddle until I'd ridden in it every day for a week... which seemed a good idea. Her thesis was that many people fall for the 'special' saddles because they feel so completely different - but a week down the line, they're beginning to regret their outlay.

Clearly this isn't the case all the time, but it's worth bearing in mind and see if you can try one out for a substantial period of time if you're serious about buying

Everybody knows I love mine... I'm only selling mine because I sold my horse - honestly the most comfortable saddle I have ever ridden in, and once you really think about the concept it's difficult to ever want to ride in a conventional saddle again! I'll stop going on about them now
