They're meant to be very good for spreading weight over the horses back, so reducing pressure points/ back soreness. I know horses that have gone much better after getting them, their movement became alot freer.
My trainer has two and has found that the horses sweat up much more under the panels - to the extent that she's going to give up on them. But other people love them

How strange. I find quite the opposite? What type of numnah/pad is she using?
It does seem that people either love them or hate them. But that is the same as just about every horse product on the market.
Find out the style of saddle and the fitting. I may know someone who would want to buy one?
