Readigrass & Graze on subsitute for?

Chaff or hay or as well as both?

grass I thought, I give it to the neds as we have no grass and makes a nice change to lots of hay - I also steam it to make it look more grass like

Personally I use as a "higher feed value" chaff as have been advised it is of similar energy value as a competition mix (but without all the starch in cereals).
Can feed this plus cool mix to a IDx and a fizzy TB, and readigrass plus oats/mix to an old hard to keep weight on hunter.
Would never go back to a normal straw or alfalfa based chaff, and loving the smell of it is a bonus,.
