Do any of you use Readigrass instead of hay/haylage?

Have just put my two on RG, as difficult to get hay delivered where I am, and I don't have a car big enough for more than two bales.
I was giving them horsehage, but chatted with shop owner and he recommended RG as it lasts longer.
Do you give buckets full (Big trug bucket) or just small amounts?
They live out 24/7 with shelter. Grass is bit rubbish at the moment even though it is a 2 acre field, hopefully it will start to pick up soon.

I think you will find that Readigrass will work out quite a bit more expensive than horsehage, plus in a field situation more will be wasted as it is likely to get blown away easily.

At the moment, I fill two trugs and put them in the shelter for them. It is a bit more expensive than horsehage, but lasted two days longer than HH... if I am giving them enough?

They have a trug each, which is as big as a haynet full of HH.

Was just wondering the benefits of it V horsehage/hay, and asking if anyone else uses it, as I've never used it before, just going by what shoppee told me

I use it for my oldie (when he's in at night during the winter) as he can no longer chew hay or haylage.

He has a haybar - the bottom third is loosely packed with hay - this allows the dust from Readygrass (of which there is much more than hay/haylage) to fall away. The top two thirds is Readygrass! This way I know he has more than enough to eat as he used to empty two giant trugs every night
