was looking at this at our local feed store today when gettin poppy her hayledge for being in. it says it can be used as a partial replacement for grass hay or hayledge. it also said that it helps to increase feeding times, ithis could be useful for us as poppy demolises her small amounts of hayledge in seconds, has anyone used readigrass like this??? do u just feed them it in a bucket??

yep, mine get it in every feed, 1 or 2 full round scoops. i always put loads of water in as well though as it is dry and i've got a piggy youngster who has given herself choke on it 3 times, grabbing a huge first mouthful and gulping it down.
it's great stuff, they love it.

I buy it in the winter for when he is in more. I give nearly a fully bucket a day if he's in 24 hours due to weather. This is ontop of normal breakfast and dinner + hay.

I feed this my girls in bucketfuls during wintertime when grass rubbish. I also give it to them with hot (obviously not hot enough to scald) water - and they love it!! mmmmmm happy ponies

I must have the only horse that doesnt like it! I fed it when he was on box rest as a treat and at first he ate it but then didnt bother with it.
