Hi All

just bringing my rising 4 yr old back into work after the winter turned away maturing, as she's now in work iv started her on ready mash feed (blue bag)

I have a red stubbs scoop, just wondering whether:
a)people feed this as a sole feed with no other mix's
b)how much would a full up stubbs scoop be (before soaking)
c)does it have everything in it to feed alone?
d)she's 14'3 and still growing (welsh d) how many scoops a day would you feed?

Iv started her off on half a scoop (dry) for now untill her system gets used to it.... a few people have recommended it to me and said there horses have blossomed on it.

any advice, much appreciated?

I dont have any sort of scales to measure the weight quantities you see, so hopefully can do it of a Stubbs Scoop! lol

When my sister was feeding green mash to her pony she mixed it with a few pony nuts too but I suppose it's relative really.
I think it swells when soaked to just over twice the dry amount? But it's been a while and I can't really remember. There were a few ponies on the yard on mash so they would buy in a few bags and make bulk feeds for each other.

thankyou for replies!

maker says between 1.5-2.5 dependant on work load i think it said when i read the back, the problem is i dont have a weight scale so thats why i wanted to know what the weight of 1 stubbs scoop is.... im a bit thick at things like this!! :/
