All of you on Youtube please comment on this video!
As you can see vet states the horse has 'serious behavioral issues' (he passed the vetting btw).
Ill admit the horse has got a kick in him, and is funny with strangers. The vet was fully warned of this, and replied saying 'it wont kick me'. He then proceeded to walk straight up to his middle and slap the heart rate jobby on him. Result = proper boot straight in the thigh.
Me thinks his pride was a bit dented!

Nope - and I am very impressed with your changes of rein - far better than me, I have to go back to a walk to do it.

Some horses like to know people before they go into their personal space, and some like mine don't give a nats a*rse when people are.

With a strange horse, I personally like to go to the front of and offer them a chance to see and hear me and have a sniff - like I would a dog then proceed to the side, keeping an eye on how they react.

So THAT's how longreining is done! Fabby!
And no, horse seems VERY well-adjusted. Honestly, some vets are complete f***wits!! I think I might've had the same vet examine one of my horses once; he honestly seemed to have his heart set on failing her!

Had a vet walk straight up to a 5yo TB being vetted and stick a needle in his neck... Fortunately he was the most gentle, laid-back little fellow, but his eyes did bug a bit! He barely said hello to me first...
