Readyfield Bloodhounds

I've never been out with them but I'm hoping to next season. I do know that the country is fabulous! (quite a lot of their meets are in Quorn country.) Plenty of big hedges and hunt jumps and they do move at a decent pace.

They're really friendly people and a great day out Deefa - I'm hoping to come out too and lend a horse to a young girl who is staying with me for the weekend to help back some ponies. I took BGG out with them for his first ever time hunting - he was very newly broken and hadn't actually cantered more than about 6 strides under saddle as just couldn't suss it in the arena, and everyone was quite understanding about my big bouncy beast! Warhorse will be fab. I'll probably have G and Poundstretcher so feel free to cling to us, both experienced horses. Bruce has said it is very optional jumping :-)

Fantastic FBG, may take you up on that. He is normally rather sedate but you neveknow do you lol!
He will be very hairy to as not clipped so will see how long we last!

They're a good friendly bunch. It's only the second time they've done Barton. It's optional anyway and the fences are pretty small ones too if you do end up fancying a go at jumping.
Have a good day and hope you really enjoy it!

Yes we had a day out in the autumn with them, it was one of the best days hunting I have ever had. Lots of jumping, fast and furious, but we were well looked after.

Stopped half way through and were offered orange squash, also had sandwiches and homemade cakes afterwards. They are on facebook and very good at updating/keeping people informed.

Have a good time!

You will have a good time, they are really nice people. If I wasn't going to London for the weekend then I would have come on one of my girls.........Have a great day...
