Readyfield OJD - Help please

We are looking to take 2 youngsters to one of the Readyfield OJDs but, having gone to Blidworth a few weeks ago, really want to avoid another 'woodland' day.

I know they are at Bilsthorpe this Sunday but I understand this runs by/through Sherwood Pines so lots of potential for low branches again!

Does anyone know of a more 'open' OJD please? In the New Year there are meets at Budby, Annesley and Farnsfield - what are these like?

Can ask a friend if you like she tends to know most of the meets. Think budby will be a bit crazy as it's a kids day as well and they do tend to be bit faster, bit busier and slightly more crazy

The bloodhounds love the woods I'm afriad, have been to most of the meets and all of them have included woodland.....

Hey A!
We went up to Sherwood Pines on Sunday and I can safely say there were no low branches - but lots of wide sandy tracks - it was great.
Was thinking of going on Sunday as I didn't make it last weekend - was concerned the ground would be too deep

The ironic thing is ISZ, after looking at the pics from Sunday, it doesnt look that muddy!! (

Hi J!

Bugger now I'm all confuddled again. We'd decided to give Bilsthorpe a miss this weekend and go to VV (Indoor Eventing) instead - now you've said that I think hunting might be better.

Oh if only I could make a decision......

I know - someone else decide for me and just tell me what I'm going to do!
