Has anyone been to this one before? It's not an OJD so would like to know how the jumping is and if there are alternative ways round them.

Got someone who'd like to come with us, but horse needs a while to warm up before jumping and they tend to stick with the smaller ones.

Not been myself but we've made enquiries and been told it's certainly not their best meet - lots of stop/start - I think the phrase used was it's 'like traditional hunting' (whatever that means?!). We weren't given the impression it's a huge jumping day though if that helps?

We're giving it a miss......

Thanks for the reply. Think I'd best call them up and ask, stop and start is the worst thing for her mare.

Never done pleasley but would be interested to know when they're going to get their dates sent out for the second half of the hunt card. Pleasley is the last listed meet and it's getting to the point where i'm trying to organise february and have no dates to go on :O( This season they've been really slow in releasing dates for some odd reason
