...does anyone in Gloucestershire have a pony that could be taken to pony club camp by a 14yr old girl next week?

Her pony has gone lame, she's absolutely inconsolable as she was so excited (let alone pony is probably going to be put down...) and I'm trying here as I'm so gutted for her!

Would be great experience for a safe pony, forward going is fine but no major faults (as she is only 14), they are willing to pay a small amount but there isn't much money to give. But I can vouch that the pony would be VERY well looked after.

If anyone can help please let me know! xx
 
I don't know of anything off the top of my head but will definitely ask about (what an awful position for both her and her parents to be in).

I can't help I am afraid but good luck with the hunt.

Is it worth popping into your local tack shops and seeing the adverts on the walls and if there is anything suitable that perhaps is looking for a loan home who you could contact?
 
Would it be worth reposting this with something more specific in the title?

I very rarely click on any posts with a vague title or a row of ... just because I only open a few posts every evening and wouldn't normally click on a vague one - although today this just happened to be at the top! Just thinking there might be someone nearer that has a suitable pony and who might also not bother to read the post. (Annoyingly I do have a sweet pony that might have suited but think the distance is probably too great in this case.)

Or how about an advert on the pc website - there was a wanted ad for a horse for camp on there a few weeks ago.
