Good snowy afternoon.

So as many of you are aware both my partner and I took the plundge and put a deposit on a lovely stray Staffy cross brindle bitch and since it has all moved so quickly.

Had a home visit from the lovely dog warden yesterday morning (riddled with nerves) he was over the moon that we'd taken on a Staffy and issued us with a get out of jail free card :D

Needless to say I was back up the dogs home practically banging the gates down to get my girl home this morning. Unfortunately the staff we're not as enthusiatic and once forms we're signed I was handed my girl, not good luck, kiss my butt or nothing. Leaving me to escort myself off the premises (Although the did issue her with a pink collar and lead, which im rather fond off, which lessened the rude blow!)

Luckily enough the she hoped straight into the back of my car and travelled like a superstar. Amazingly it seems she has a small bit of training, sit, get down and up :D. Settled in all about 2 seconds and has now commanded the sofa. :D :D :D

Literally I am thrilled with her, she already feels like shes part of the furniture. Can't wait for 10days time when she gets her second injection and we can go and get some exploring done :D

She's the best decsion we've made in a while.

She is still in need of a name though, which has been a sore point for both me and my other half over the weekend. Unfortunately he didn't like Rosie :(

So ideas on a postcard please.

And just because she's beautiful and to show how stressed she is with the whole suitiation.....

She looks like a 'B' name to me.
Brodie
Bridie
Bracken
Brindle (colouring)

She's gorgeous despite having no name! :)

How can she not be a Rosie

Tilly
Mathilda
Snow (in honour of the snow on the ground)
Summer

She is soooo beautiful.

Wow she is pretty! I love the intense red in her colouring. So much so that I still do think you should call her Rosie, whether OH likes it or not!

She looks well in there, can you imagine her life now, from the smelly pound to your loving home (she is super duper lucky):)
I think she looks like a brodie or a saphie too:) or maybe a tia:)
Be aware of potential seperation issues when they come from the pound and get a routine going asap as she will be lapping up all the affection and only right too, but she also needs to beable to settle on her own.:)

Aw, she looks like she's thinking "thank god I am back in a house again!"

Hmm, names.....

Well, we have a Boots and a Molly. Have previously had a Lucy and a Bess. I can't actually think of any other name though - how rubbish!

Call her Summer - then maybe we'll get some! :)

Thank you for all your suggestions :) we've finally decided on a name, or should be say she picked it :D.

We decided the best option was to shout names at her to see what she liked best (responded too.)

Apprently her choice is Bella and we definately think it suits her :)

Shes part of the furniture already and poor OH has been asigned to the floor :D

Cookies from a very very happy Mrs_T and Bella

She looks very happy and settled, congratulations and hope you have lots of fun together. I am not normally a fan of staffies (dont know why) but she is lovely and I think I would have been tempted too...

Love the name, I think a really lovely (always right) person suggested it your previous thread ..;):p
