Been a really busy day but thought id tell you
First time since my 2 operations I got on the big bird today and she was brill.
She stood like a donkey for me to get on
, which is unusual as she normally tries to turn around
! She then thought she would like to nap and buck all the way down the road
but wouldnt let her so she gave in and behaved brilliantly all the way round the ride. Only did walk and trot as I didnt know if I would have enough strength if she took off in canter. Finger held up to it all quite well and didnt hurt at all!
So then hitched up and took the trailer home for a good old wash but ended up going to pick my mums dog up from her walk as shed done the splits with her back legs and couldnt walk
! Shes fine now, think she just pulled all her muscles etc.
Took me nearly 2 hours to clean the trailer inside and out - it looks new again! Then drove off for my last trailer lesson before my test! Did all my reversing great until attempt number 6 when I completely lost it and couldnt manage to reverse the trailer into the garage. So instructor came over and told me what to do again .
Sorted out the coupling up etc and put sticky tape all over the back weel of the car and front of trailer so I know where to reverse back to in my test - going to try and get one of those reversing mirrors on Tuesday. Got my controlled stop down to a fine art. My instructor thinks ill pass with flying colours
. I really hope I do as I dont want to let him down at all!
