Really inviting, friendly ad?

I can see where she's coming from but i'd be too scared to ring in case I got a good telling off for wasting her time if I asked any questions...

I don't really do fluffy ads, would rather it was to the point.

Neither do I. However, I don't think that fact that her husband has died is relevant and any sympathy she may have gain from that is lost witht the aggressive tone. She also does not state the height of the horses (although I think it's safe to say it's big) nor her location, the latter would save a lot of wasted phone calls.

I love RIDs so don't think I would let her ad put me off. Do think she would help herself by giving height and area though (I googled to find it as Wrexham) There seem to be very few RIDs advertised for sale so would have thought she would sell quite easily, especially a filly, although I did note there's no mention of how she is under saddle.

I think if you're interested, I'd call, be extremely friendly, but have my list of questions ready with a nice friendly "I don't want to waste anyone's time so I have a few questions before arranging a viewing, if that's ok?" hopefully that should make her more receptive to answering!

If I were looking and weren't miles away I'd be very interested! :)

I am always put off personaly by people who put no timewasters to be honest. What is their perception of a timewaster. When I have been looking at buying I have loads of questions and always view more than once. I have twice gone with instructor for another look and then not bought. So to some people I must be a timewaster but I am always seriously looking if I phone at all.

One does wonder with ads that state '....due to timewasters' (although most don't actually have in in the ad headline) how much of that is down to seller. If RIDs are so sought after and in such short supply, why all the timewasters?

Looks like a nice horse though!

I don't think the advert is particularly harsh, blunt yes. To be honest, she's probably got more on her mind at the moment then 'prettying' the advert up, presuming her husbands death was quite recent.

I wouldn't be put off the advert from the wording, but I would think twice about ringing her as I would be wary of her thinking I'm wasting her time (I'm rubbish on the phone though!) I think I would probably email her with a list of questions, then it's up to her if she sees fit to take it further or not.

Maybe it's down to what she isn't saying in the advert, ie, no vices, quiet to ride, hacking alone etc? If people don't think to ask that on the phone and then find she isn't like that when they get there perhaps that's why she's calling them time wasters?

When I sold my pony I had 4 people come to look at an 11.2 pony, advertised as an 11.2 pony, full up, mature with deep girth etc, yet every one of those 4 decided she was too small and bought a 12hh or taller. To my mind they were time wasters because my advert quite clearly and honestly stated her height (and she had a height cert from the vet!) so I was annoyed about it and potentially a bit short with others wanting to view. Admittedly my ad ran much longer than hers does, but I hadn't just lost my husband. I'd still call and go and look if OP is genuinely interested, but I would be asking about vices and ridden habits etc over the phone.

You can really tell I like RIDs can't you lol! :D

No, I'm not interested, it's too young and (probably) too big for me! I'm also not keen on the fact that she has been broken at two. Would love an ID though.

Must admit I hadn't spotted the 'rising 3' bit initially and it would concern me too. Shame, she's gorgeous, but I'd say she'll grow more as well!!
