I fancy treating my 2 to a nice leather headcollar each. So, who has a leather headcollar that is particularly lovely and they wish to recommend to me? I would like a little plate with their names on the side, but I can obviously add this myself

I like the Mark Todd ones, never splurged on one but they are rather nice, mine have Ascot ones which are fine and used on the yard and clean up well for parties.

Ive got an equipe one which is BEAUTIFUL and wasn't extortionate at all, I got mine for £35 but it was a special offer! Its one of the nicest I have seen though!

I have a Sabre and it is lovey, looks really smart but is quite chunky as its padded on the nose and head. I like that i can adjust in on both side of the head piece and the leather is soft without being flimsy if you know what i mean.
I just cant quite bring myself to sell it really...

Sir Lancelot Horse Sport (Dutch Company) they have beautiful headcollars and not expensive either. Just google sir lancelot horse sports and have a look.

Oh thats easy - go see the Brass Tacks lady - or look at her website. She is at most of the big horse trials with her trailer.

She does top quality, English leather, padded headcollars and te best quality ebgraved name plates where the wording is blocked in black so really stands out. I've had 3 headcollars and a dog collar - the quality id fantastic on both.

Only thing I would say is the headcollars tend to come up a bit large but otherewise can't recommend her highly enough.

oh yes, remember her little trailer at Badminton last year. Do you have one of her headcollars? Any chance of a pic? I am being quite fussy!

2nd this! Love them! If you want cob get pony and if you want full get cob as they do come up big.

I have one of those and tbh am not that keen on it, leather is ok but I am not sure about the fit of it. Think part of it is the fact the headpiece and noseband are very tapered and I would prefer same width but that is just my opinion. Much prefer my Mark Todd one, used to have a stubben one too but that was on my lorry when it was stolen! Would have had stubben again but the Mark Todd are cheaper, decent leather, look smart and do the job.

Ok, will steer clear of that one then. I am not sure about the Mark Todd one, it is a bit plain. I like the Sabre one best so far, but dislike the £90 price tag - would prefer to get both for about £100 rather than just 1 of them! I like the chunky padded noseband and headpiece on the Sabre one

What colour are you after?

Need black for one of my horses (brown doesn't suit a black leopard spot), but the TB can have black or brown

Mine is dark havana cob/full, i need to sell it really so if your intrested drop me a pm and i will get you some pictures :)

I've got a Rhinegold one which TBH was not a lot of money, but I've had it for nearly 4 years and it still polishes up like new! :)
It's lovely and padded on the crown and nose and the leather is really decent too.
