Lent a net to the girl who is helping me with May, the other day. Asked for it back today, and noticed it was hanging up with some left in it a bit further down her block where I was moving May to today.

did the whole move, went to do nets, and it had gone! So asked the lady who had moved over the road to another part of the yard (whose stable I had taken) She had'nt got it, so had a whizz round and this womans daughter moved into the stable next to my old one, and there it was ready filled hanging outside her stable. Her mum had already said they did'nt have any nets like that one, and she has just taken this horse on loan yesterday and is short of stuff.

So I waited till no one was around, took it into my old stable and put the haylage in one of her empty nets and hung that up instead and took mine back!!!! I am 100% sure it was mine. Very petty, but it sooo pees me off when people just take stuff!!!!!!!!!

Agree - very annoying, your stuff is yours and you are entitled to have it back! Need to keep an eye out in future, I think! (Could have been a simple mistake, but then again!?)

I would have done exactly the same.

My horse is on part livery and I discovered that one of my nets had been allocated to another horse as that horse didn't have any nets of his own!! Yes I buy them so that other horses can use them as their owners are too blooming tight to but them a haynet......err no I dont think so!! I went slightly mad

I'm so glad I keep my horses at home! I would not have been happy at all! Mind you, I'm too soft...I'd have chuntered to myself but wouldn't have dared go on a seek and recovery mission! lol

I actually moved to a private field due to people on the yards using my stuff.
It is petty but know where you are coming from...just feels cheeky...
I had a lady use my forks to tidy her stable and my brushes on her own horse as she didnt have hers.
I was so angry that in the end I moved to my own field and have all my bits at home now.

See my post in the lounge as i am having exactly the same problem although people are actaully taking my horses bit off of my bridle to use and using my hat coz they cant be bothered to remember there own.
