Really quick question

10st? Although obviously lots more if the poor thing lived in Egypt or similar

I weigh between 10 - 10.5 stone (5'10" tall) and my 15'1 chunky Crabbet carries me perfectly well. We do lower level endurance.

I would say up to 12 stone - but it all depends on the build of the Arab, and obviously the skill and sensitivity of the rider.

These little Arabs are tougher than people give them credit for.

I agree with Faro a good 12 stone and if the horse is fit and of good bone probably more. Arabs are a very sturdy and athletic breed and that is why they are one of the best breeds for endurance in the world.
